The children from Rang 4,5,6 performed this years drama “The Three Little Pigs” and our school choir performed some lovely Christmas songs at the end. Well done to everyone involved!
Just back from our Christmas holidays and ready for 2015. We had an excellent day in the infant classroom with the toys Father Christmas brought us. We shared and played together.
Welcome back after the summer holidays. A special welcome to all the infants who started this year. Twenty One in total!! “De du run run run” in support of the Donegal team coming shortly.
There was plenty of “rírá and ruaille buaille” in our classroom over the past few weeks. We did an investigation on soil and we found: beetles, centipedes, ants, worms, snails and caterpillars.
We also had a visit from some turtles, tadpoles and a hamster. We gave them a very warm welcome.
Here we are getting ready for the worms. We put earth and sand into the wormery
At the beginning of autumn the children from rang a 2 and 3 had a fantastic day when they brought in a collection of fruit, vegetables and herbs from their gardens to taste. Áod went a step further and brought in a homemade apple pie to share with everyone. It was very tasty! A great day was had by all!
Congratulations to past pupil, Finn McLaughlin, who played on the first ever Inishowen team to win the “Foyle Cup”. Finn had a fantastic game and scored.
